The Diplomat Solution
There’s much more to Diplomat than the remote hardware unit
attached to vehicles. The real heart of the Diplomat system is a
suite of web-based tools that interpret
and display data uploaded from Diplomat-equipped vehicles and GPS
enabled handsets. The Diplomat web site is how you experience this
service. It’s an always-available, extremely easy-to-use way
to monitor, track and analyze mobile device/location data from anywhere—in
your office, at home or on the road.
Integrated GPS/wireless remote tracking units
Diplomat can track through Diplomat Express, our slimline wireless
communication platform using either CDPD or iDen technology. Tracking
can also be performed from the Nextel i88s or i58sr GPS enabled
handset for workers who travel on foot.
Secure, easy-to-use web-based maps and reports
Uploaded location and sensor reports (such as engine on/off status)
are processed in DCS servers, then downloaded to the secure Diplomat
web site. Authorized users can see and access near real-time data
in a number of useful ways.
Maps portray present position, vehicle path (history), and integrate
Expedia driving directions.
A suite of 17 customizable reports delivers the same data shown
on maps but with even greater flexibility. Use reports to analyze
operational efficiency, spot usage trends and archive tracking history
in print or file form. More than just forms, reports are powerful
tools for searching and presenting business data.
